Surgery survived well
King Charles spent the night in hospital
According to a report, King Charles III spent the night on Saturday in hospital following his operation. This was reported by the British news agency PA, citing Buckingham Palace.
The 75-year-old had undergone the planned operation on Friday due to an enlarged prostate. According to the German Press Agency, he came through the operation well.
Camilla: Charles is doing well!
Queen Camilla (76), who was seen several times at the private London Clinic in the British capital on Friday, also said in the British media that Charles was doing well. It was unclear whether he would remain in the clinic for another night.
Benign prostate enlargement is a common and easily treatable condition. Charles went to the same private clinic as Princess Kate (42), who had abdominal surgery last week.
Charles visited Kate
According to reports, Charles paid a visit to his daughter-in-law, who is still recovering there, before being operated on.
It was not initially known what she was suffering from. However, it is not thought to be cancer. However, the length of her hospital stay, which has now lasted almost two weeks, raises fears that it may not have been an easy operation.
