Americans are making sure Ukrainians die

The Kremlin is convinced that the US government is contributing to a continuation of the war in Ukraine. "The Americans are (thereby) inflicting more pain on the Ukrainians, and the Americans are ensuring that more Ukrainians die," said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

The US government is directly involved in the conflict, provoking its continuation and becoming more and more entangled in it. However, this will not change the outcome of the war, said Peskov. The Russian government has repeatedly stated that many deaths are due to the West helping the Ukrainian military in its defense.

Mutual drone attacks
Mutual drone and missile attacks were reported again on Saturday night. There was damage to infrastructure objects. "A fire broke out at the Volgograd oil refinery due to the crash of a downed drone," the governor of the affected Russian region, Andrey Botsharov, announced on Telegram on Saturday. The flames were quickly contained. There were no deaths or injuries.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, a total of seven drones were shot down, mainly on the border with Ukraine. The other side reported 14 drones and two missiles on Saturday night. The attacks were mainly directed against energy infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk.

Fires, power outage
Although nine drones were intercepted, according to the military, two fires broke out. "Almost 15,000 people in the region are without electricity, as well as two heating plants in Kryvyi Rih, which supplied 43,000 people," reported military governor Serhiy Lysak. The streetcars in the city were partially out of order and several households currently had no water.
