Start for strip club
Authority now gives 85-year-old the go-ahead for bar
He is regarded as the Waldviertel version of "Playboy" founder Hugh Hefner. After more than a year, he is finally allowed to open his bar in the center of Waidhofen an der Thaya. But why Adolf Graf (85), after a long, eager wait for the permit, will only open on August 4 ...
The 85-year-old Adolf Graf, who has wanted to open a go-go bar in the town center of Waidhofen an der Thaya for over a year, received a late birthday present, the "Krone" reported. The "Hugh Hefner of the Waldviertel" can now finally "let the dolls dance". The sprightly pensioner is using a group of Hungarian dancers that he already employed at his club in Horn, which he ran for 20 years.
Vacation after massive delays
Problems with incorrect basic boundaries delayed the start. The delay massively reduced the pool of dancers. And just as the decision was received, the remaining artists went on vacation.
Starting signal for a long run ...
But from August 4, Graf and his go-go bar will officially get going. He is motivated, because the lease alone runs until he is 94 years old.
