They come from the Stone Age and shoot with high-tech weapons. How is this possible? The Houthis of Yemen are keeping shipping traffic at the bottleneck of world trade (Red Sea - Suez Canal) in suspense and in their sights.

Yemen is one of the poorest countries in the world, barely escaping the Stone Age; but the Muslim warriors can not only identify every ship electronically and target it with drones and missiles, they also immediately post their attack videos on digital networks for a global audience. Success and propaganda could not be better.

Revolutionary Guards control their puppets
Who would think of such a thing? Many things are possible, but you can't turn Stone Age warriors into electronic heroes. Here at the "Bab el-Mandeb" (Gate of Tears) Iran is firing! This is where the Iranian Revolutionary Guards control their puppets.

So far, so bad. What is particularly bad is who puts up with all this: The big neighbor Saudi Arabia, which was already unable to win a war against the Houthis (more precisely: Iran in Yemen), remains silent. Egypt, the main victim of the Suez Canal, remains silent.

The West is now supposed to pull the "Arab brothers'" chestnuts out of the fire. The USA is keeping its counter-attacks on the back burner so as not to escalate the Middle East war, but Europe is only sending "escort ships" (or rather: targets) to defend against drones.
