Police looking for witnesses
Drunk woman pushed woman on electric scooter in front of truck
Wild scenes took place on a footpath and cycle path in Tyrol on Monday afternoon! A heavily intoxicated German woman (53) apparently had a problem with a Hungarian woman (30) who came towards her on an electric scooter. It almost resulted in an accident with a truck. The 53-year-old was arrested. The police are now looking for witnesses to the incident.
The incident occurred on Monday at around 2.20 pm on the footpath and cycle path directly next to the Loferer Bundesstraße in the municipality of Ellmau (district of Kufstein): "A 53-year-old, heavily intoxicated German woman gave a 30-year-old Hungarian woman a push with her hand with full force for reasons as yet unknown, so that the Hungarian woman ended up in the roadway area of the busy Loferer Bundesstraße," according to the police.
Truck was able to swerve out of the way
Prior to this, the pedestrian had forced the 30-year-old woman coming towards her on an electric scooter to stop by jumping back and forth several times, repeatedly shouting at her and finally shaking the handlebars of the scooter back and forth. "A passing truck honked its horn loudly and drew attention to the dangerous situation," said the police. Fortunately, there was no collision.
According to the current state of the investigation, the two people have never met before and therefore do not know each other.
