12 titanium screws
Arabella Kiesbauer has to go back into the operating theater
There is no end to the odyssey of the popular "Bauer sucht Frau" presenter: a long-ago accident has now forced her to go under the knife again.
Directly after a devastating skiing accident in February last year, Arabella Kiesbauer had to undergo a two-hour operation. During her winter vacation in Kitzbühel, the 45-year-old suffered a tibial plateau fracture, a broken bone at the top of her tibia.
Back then, she posted an X-ray on her Instagram showing the extent of her injury. "This is what it looks like: it took 12 screws and a plate to put my leg back together. I wonder if I'll ever get through airport security again without jingling?" she joked at the time.

Does she still feel like joking?
Now she has to go under the knife again. Once again, she shares a photo of herself on social media in which she is (still) in a good mood on the hospital bed.

From her caption, it can be seen that the twelve screws, including the titanium plate, which were inserted around a year ago, are now to be removed. "The crutches are already ready, I'll need them again later. I'm already dreading it. But it doesn't help," she comments bravely.
If she continues as before, fans can soon hope for a public update on her state of health. Until then, the "Krone" joins the many commenting followers in wishing her a "get well soon"!
