The weather will remain spring-like throughout Austria at the weekend. Isolated rain showers with a reddish tinge may nevertheless cool things down briefly. In the coming week, temperatures of up to 18 degrees Celsius are expected in the east.

Friday will start off cloudy in the morning. During the course of the day, more rain will set in in the west and south, which could turn reddish due to the Sahara dust and spread across all federal states. The wind will be weak to moderate. Temperatures could still reach up to 14 degrees by the afternoon.

Saturday will also be slightly rainy and cloudy in large parts of the country. In the afternoon, the clouds will clear again and the sun will prevail. It will remain largely dry and mild during the day, especially in the east. Daytime highs will be between ten and 15 degrees.

It will be particularly spring-like and dry throughout Austria on Sunday. Only in East Tyrol and Upper Carinthia may there be some rain. The snow line will rise to 1600 meters above sea level. In the west, there will be strong southerly föhn winds in places, with moderate to brisk winds blowing throughout the rest of the mountains and in the east during the day. Temperatures of up to 18 degrees are expected, especially in the east of the country.

A mix of sun and clouds will ensure a changeable start to the week. Nevertheless, it will remain spring-like on Monday, with temperatures between nine and 16 degrees. A few thick patches of high fog may become noticeable, especially in the foothills of the Alps. Nevertheless, it will remain dry throughout. The wind will also calm down for the most part.
