Reward for clues
The hunt for RAF terrorists goes into overtime
There were only two left! After 20 years in hiding, Daniela Klette (65) was caught. Two accomplices are still on the run.
The Red Army Faction (RAF) is considered an extreme left-wing terrorist organization that caused fear and terror in Germany from the 1970s onwards. The RAF is said to be responsible for dozens of murders of police officers, politicians and captains of industry as well as several bomb attacks with more than 200 people injured, some of them seriously. In 1998, the terrorist organization announced its official dissolution. The hard core comprised 80 people and there were around a thousand supporters.
The members who had not yet been caught or killed disappeared underground. To finance their lives, the terrorists are said to have committed several armed robberies in Germany between 1999 and 2016. Earlier this week - as reported - the handcuffs clicked for RAF terrorist Daniela Klette in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
Since only one of the 34 murders committed by the RAF has been fully solved, a larger number of terrorist murderers are probably still living in freedom.

"Claudia" gave tutoring and swept the streets
According to "Bild", the now 65-year-old woman called herself Claudia, tutored children and regularly swept the streets in her neighborhood with neighbors in Berlin, which was plagued by street litter. According to the Berlin newspaper "Tagesspiegel", officers found heavy weapons such as a Kalashnikov and a grenade in the 650-euro rented apartment.
150,000 euro reward for the capture of fugitive duo
During the search by officers, all residents had to leave the apartment building. Klette is now in custody, but the hunt for other RAF terrorists is not over yet. In their sights: Ernst-Volker Staub (69) and Burkhard Garweg (55). The two men in hiding and the woman now in custody are classified by investigators as the third generation of the RAF. A reward of 150,000 euros has been offered for information leading to the capture of Staub and Garweg.
