After the bitter end to their Youth League campaign, Liefering welcome St. Pölten to the Red Bull Arena. After two wins, the young bulls are in good form. Salzburg also won the first leg against the Lower Austrian side. However, August's golden goal scorer is questionable.

After the disappointing exit in the Youth League against Nantes, the young bulls will continue in the 2nd division. Because St. Pölten are coming, there is no time to be sad. Instead, Liefering is building on a strong February. "We've had a good start to the season overall," said coach Onur Cinel, relieved to have started the spring with two victories.

However, the coach also knows that the team in fifth place in the table from Lower Austria is a different caliber than Horn and Dornbirn: "We can expect an opponent who is very strong individually and has a clear plan of how they want to play soccer."

Atiabou questionable
That does not deter the young squad. Goalkeeper Salko Hamzic wants to go up: "We just want to step on the gas and win as many games as possible." That worked well in the first leg against the Wolves. Benjamin Atiabou headed his team to a 1:0 away win. However, the goalscorer is questionable. Alparslan Baran, Soumaila Diabate, Justin Omoregie and Tolgahan Sahin are also missing through injury.
