Red Bull Salzburg's second team confirmed its strong spring form. Liefering won 3:1 against St. Pölten, their fourth win in a row in the second division. Meanwhile, two players with Salzburg connections celebrated for Bregenz.

Liefering are going strong this spring. After two wins against Dornbirn and Horn, they also beat fifth-placed St. Pölten. After the disappointing exit from the Youth League on Wednesday, coach Onur Cinel was impressed by his team's mentality: "We had the opportunity to pick ourselves up as a team - we did that." Cinel's team won 3:1, with Yeo, Wallner and Reischl scoring the goals for the team from Mozartstadt.

Going into the break with a narrow lead
It was a lively game right from the start. As early as the sixth minute, the bar saved Liefering from an early deficit. But a short time later, it was the young bulls who were celebrating. St. Pölten were as open as a barn door at the back and Moussa Yeo (10') scored to give them the lead. In the minutes that followed, their confidence was evident. Meanwhile, the visitors are unsure from a free-kick. Goalkeeper Turner catches the ball, but is hit by a teammate and loses the ball again. Lukas Wallner (26') is in the right place - 2:0. Shortly afterwards, Dario Tadic (29') puts the Wolves back in front.

After the restart, Luka Reischl (58) restored the two-goal lead. After an assist from Adam Daghim ("The team performance was really good."), he skillfully slid the ball past Turner. Coach Cinel summed up: "We worked hard for the win, but had to suffer a little in between."

Ex-Gollinger Lukas Brückler was also able to celebrate, putting Bregenz ahead in Kapfenberg after two minutes. Bulls loanee Federico Crescenti scored in the 75th minute to make it 3-0.
