The most bizarre rental cases
Unbelievable! The urine-sour battle for satisfaction
Icy SAT systems, botched building work, water damage and much more. These days, property management companies have to deal with many issues. The largest non-profit housing association in Lower Austria reports many bizarre cases to the "Krone" newspaper: about the other side of the coin, which is rarely seen, and how they want to achieve greater tenant satisfaction in the future.
More and more frustrated readers are turning to the "Krone" because damage is not being repaired and repairs are obviously not being carried out by their property management companies. Since the "Edelpfuscher", aka janitor, is almost non-existent these days, they also have no direct contact in their local housing complex. Tenants turn to their property managers and often have the impression that their concerns and problems are not taken seriously.
In the battle for satisfied tenants, however, there are also some very bizarre cases that make the people in charge at the WET Group shake their heads and later bring many smiles to their faces. The examples are far more obscure, however, such as a tenant reporting that her boiler is dripping even though she shouldn't have one. Incidentally, this happens from time to time.
The ominous water damage in the toilet
"A lady complained to us that she had water damage in the toilet. We commissioned a plumber to repair it," is a story from the WET Group's head office, the outcome of which nobody dared to suspect. "After his assessment, the plumber informed us that the toilet was absolutely leak-proof," the story continues. However, the ominous water damage was ultimately nothing and was probably only suspected because someone was constantly peeing in there.
