The Thalgau FPÖ criticizes the "backroom politics" of the ÖVP mayor. Head of the village: "Everyone was informed".

The municipality of Thalgau could save itself a lot of blackboards in the future. ÖVP mayor Johann Grubinger cites this as an advantage of the new regulation. Shortly before the upcoming mayoral and municipal elections, he issued a comprehensive 30 km/h speed limit in Thalgau. This was already the case for the most part. Now some sections of the town have been added. 30 speed limit signs on the village signs at the beginning and end of the village should now be enough to show the new regulation covering the whole area. 

The Thalgau FPÖ is not as satisfied as the ÖVP local leader. Community representative Christopher Breitenthaler speaks of secrecy. "The ÖVP backroom politics must come to an end," demands the FPÖ man. The mayor's approach will make it difficult to have a good basis for discussion after the elections. "Of course we could have told everyone. But as mayor, I can issue this ordinance," countered Johann Grubinger.

All political groups had been informed - and the new signs "will only be put up later anyway". The local residents have had good experiences with the speed limit. According to Grubinger, you have to slow down where there are a lot of people.
