For the current issue of "Glamour" magazine, Heidi Klum not only shows herself as a sexy angel and in a transparent dress with flower "nipples", but also spoke about ageism and the brutal hatred on the internet.

Heidi Klum had herself photographed in several sensational outfits for the current issue of "Glamour" magazine, which goes on sale on Tuesday. Among other things, she posed with angel wings in a bikini, but also in a white silk dress, or showed herself in a transparent dress with 3D flowers covering just the bare essentials.

"I already know that I offend"
In an interview with the fashion magazine, the 50-year-old also spoke about criticism of her personality. "I already know that I offend. But I think you have to remain authentic. I am a woman who likes to be feminine, who is sometimes loud and colorful."

Anyone who feels annoyed by this should "just unfollow me", says the "Germany's Next Topmodel" presenter. "It's just a little push of a button." Because: "I don't pretend and I'm not different because this or that person might not like the way I am."

Klum says she finds it particularly difficult to put up with haters who attack her and her family personally. "When I read certain headlines about my children. When I see people making fun of the fact that I have children with different men. There are so many people who have had failed marriages. Of course it's not nice, but that's how my life has been."

"I'm 50, but far from dead"
Her age is also a recurring theme, Klum continued. "People also make fun of the fact that I'm still dressing sexy at 50. That's neither nice nor pleasant. Yes, I'm 50, but I'm far from dead."

The model beauty explained that the massive hatred online had also prompted her to switch off her Instagram comments. "It's a shame because I can no longer interact with my fans." But at the same time, she is "not in the mood for the hatred" that exists in the comments - "and also not for the hatred that I am subjected to."

She is also not dependent on social media compliments, Klum continues. She even takes a critical view: "I also believe that people develop a dependency on social media and feedback like 'You look great' is not good for everyone."

Klum used to be "labeled as too fat"
Klum also revealed that she had been "very lucky" with her career. In the beginning, nobody "in Paris and Milan" wanted her. "I was too happy for them, never super thin. I was even labeled as too fat. It was the time of heroin chic. I didn't fit in there."

However, time has proven her right, because: "It's funny: the people from back then, it feels like they're all gone - including many of the models I worked with. I'm still here. At the end of the day, I'm glad that everything turned out the way it did. Otherwise I might have quit a long time ago."

Leni has "a thick skin"
That's why she helps her daughter Leni with advice and support, not only with potential jobs, but also with her outfits. "She usually chooses the outfit I advised her against," laughed Klum.

But she also always talked to her about the downsides of fame. "I made it clear to her right from the start that as my daughter, she would be a target for the public. Many people will think she's cute, others will think she's stupid. (...) People who don't like me might automatically not like her either. She must have a thick skin, but my children have that."
