Wolfgang Puck cooks up Hollywood with 60 dishes
In addition to the awards, the Governors Ball, hosted by Wolfgang Puck, is one of the fixtures of the Oscars ceremony, which takes place on Sunday night. Once again this year, the Carinthian will receive culinary support from St. Veit an der Glan. And this year too, the dinner will be a showcase. The "Krone" has an insight into the culinary delights that await the stars.
Alongside his mentor Wolfgang Puck, Carinthian cooking star Mike Köberl will once again be helping out at this year's Governors Ball, the gala dinner for Hollywood stars after the Oscars. For years, Köberl has been there in Los Angeles when the most heated time of the year begins for Puck.
Superstars dine on a super menu
And this year too, big screen stars such as favorites Emma Stone and Robert Downey Jr. as well as the rest of the dream factory elite will be feasting on Puck's special menu after the gala at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. This is also where Köberl comes in, because he knows exactly what his master wants.
From Oscar salmon to chocolate cigars
It is particularly important to keep an overview. A look at the 60(!) dishes on the evening's menu, which the "Krone" has already been allowed to take, makes us certain of this. Fancy an appetizer? From smoked Oscar salmon, chicken with truffles, or Wagyu bites to the classic Margherita pizza or chocolate cigars with smoking ash. .
