As reported by "Sport 1", the lawyer of Red Bull's majority owner Chalerm Yoovidhya, Red Bull Racing and Christian Horner is said to have officially dismissed the employee on Monday.
The woman does not want to accept this so easily and is therefore planning to take legal action against the dismissal in an English employment tribunal. According to reports, she has the support of the group around Mark Mateschitz and CEO Oliver Mintzlaff.
Mystery surrounding her predecessor
They are opposed above all by the Red Bull majority owner from Thailand, who is holding on to Horner unconditionally. Internally, tensions are said to be growing. Jos Verstappen recently warned that the situation could "explode".
Most recently, "BusinessF1" published a detailed report on the Horner case. It also revealed the name of the employee and revealed that her predecessor had suddenly resigned in 2020 for unknown reasons.
