Gary Goldsmith, Princess Kate's uncle, is currently taking part in the British TV show "Celebrity Big Brother". He has now spoken - albeit somewhat cautiously - about the Princess's state of health. However, he assured that his niece is receiving the "best treatment in the world".

An interviewer asked him on the show, which aired on Wednesday evening: "Where is Kate?" Gary Goldsmith replied that he could not say anything for reasons of etiquette. However, he assured her that he had spoken to her mother, his sister: "She's getting the best treatment in the world."

Kate was admitted to hospital in mid-January for a planned operation. The daughter-in-law of King Charles III and wife of heir to the throne Prince William underwent abdominal surgery. She is now recovering at home.

"She will be back"
She will not be attending any appointments until after Easter, the palace announced. Despite the announcement and the urgent request to protect the privacy of the mother of three, rumors and conspiracy theories had recently been on the rise.

When Goldsmith's interviewer on the show emphasized that she wanted Kate to come back, he said: "She's great. She will come back, of course she will."
