Gisele Bündchen weeps bitter tears for Tom Brady
The pain of the end of her marriage to Tom Brady in 2022 still runs deep for Gisele Bündchen. So deep that she even burst into tears during an interview when asked about her ex-husband.
Her divorce from NFL star Tom Brady in October 2022 is clearly still on Gisele's mind.
In a teaser for her interview with US presenter Robin Roberts for a special program about the former supermodel, she burst into tears when asked about her ex-husband and even had to cut the interview short.
Bündchen cried bitter tears
"You didn't think the marriage would end," Roberts told Bündchen. "No one goes into a marriage thinking it's going to end, but it does. You said it was the death of a dream." "Yes," the model replied very briefly. It was clear that the presenter had hit a very sore spot.
The model then paused briefly as tears welled up in her eyes. The model then turned away from the camera and covered her face with her hand. "Sorry, guys. I don't know. Can I have a quick moment?" she asked the camera crew.
Co-parenting is a challenge
Even when the 43-year-old spoke about co-parenting their children Benjamin (14) and Vivian (11), it was clear that the situation is still not easy for Gisele.
"Some days are easier than others," the mother of two said honestly. "And I can only control what I do."
What lesson has she learned from all her experiences? "Everything I've experienced has made me realize what I want and what I don't want," said Bündchen. And: "At the end of the day, it doesn't work if you're not honest with yourself."
Is Gisele Bündchen newly in love?
Roberts also asked Bündchen if she was ready to open her heart to someone else again. "Hmmm," she replied, adding, "Where my heart is right now and where I am right now: I'm living my truth and I'm not apologizing for it." She also explained that her past experiences with love had shown her "what I want and what I don't want anymore".
The Brazilian-born actress has reportedly been in love again for some time. Back in June 2023, she reportedly had a fling with jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valenta. According to reports, the two were initially good friends and took things slowly. She herself has not yet commented on the relationship.
