First Kate appearance: William “completely freaked out”

Princess Kate is actually on sick leave until after Easter. However, a piece of information published about her annoyed the palace - and Prince William in particular was furious.

First great joy among Royal fans, then confusion - and anger about a possible first appearance by Princess Kate! Will she be attending rehearsals for the Trooping the Color parade in honour of King Charles on 8 June?

That's what the Ministry of Defense announced on its website on Tuesday, causing a stir. Kensington Palace did not confirm the date. The statement was deleted from the website just a few hours later. The back and forth once again fueled concerns about Kate's health.

William fuming with rage
One person was particularly annoyed by the confusion surrounding Kate's first appearance: Prince William. A palace employee told Bild: "Prince William really lost it over this! He was furious how something like this could happen. William wants to protect his wife. To spare her unnecessary excitement."

So how could such a mishap happen? The employee explained: "Those responsible at the Ministry of Defense did not coordinate with Kate's staff and seem to have released something prematurely." Three months before the event, no details about the parade were supposed to be released.

Kate is said to have started work again
However, behind the scenes it is said that there is a good chance that Kate will take part in the parade. The palace employee added: "The princess is even said to have resumed light desk duties."

On Monday, a photo emerged showing the princess with her mother Carole in a car in the grounds of Windsor Castle. Kate is recovering there from an abdominal operation she underwent in London on January 16.
