It's not every day that Jude Bellingham hears this question on live TV. "Do you want to come home with me?" Italian TV reporter Alessia Tarquinio asked the Real star after the Champions League round of 16 against RB Leipzig. A bizarre situation ...

The resolution behind this strange question has nothing to do with a serious offer, of course. Rather, it's about the fact that the journalist has a well-behaved son at home thanks to Bellingham's statements. The 48-year-old had the midfielder on the microphone back in November. Back then at Real's Champions League group game against Napoli (4:2). After the game, she asked Bellingham to give her son some good advice. "Be nice to your mother! Mothers are important," said the England international in response.

And the reunion in Madrid. "I owe you one, my son is behaving much better. And I have another request: could you tell him to do his Spanish homework?" said the journalist. Bellingham jumped at this again: "Gabriel, do your homework. Otherwise you'll end up like me and hardly speak any Spanish."

"You would be my perfect son"
Then came the Italian's unusual question: "Do you want to come home with me?" Bellingham was visibly confused, but only said: "Take it easy". Tarquinio added: "You would be my perfect son."

The interview clip went viral online. This annoyed the journalist: "I get angry when I see my words being taken out of context." And: "Does anyone really believe that I would address a player like that in a live interview? I'm 48 years old, I could be his mother. The question certainly didn't have a sexual undertone."

In any case, there was plenty to laugh about for the TV viewers ...
