Alarming: IS fans pose in Vienna city center
Experts are sounding the alarm: the number of Islamist influencers is rising rapidly. The dangerous seducers are also up to mischief in Vienna - as recent pictures show.
Three dead prostitutes - the perpetrator is an Afghan refugee who has confessed. Several mass rapes - most of the alleged perpetrators have a Muslim background. And just a few days ago, a 14-year-old girl was found dead in the apartment of an Afghan in Simmering, presumably after abusing drugs and alcohol. Previously, she had allegedly had consensual sex with the 26-year-old. And then there are the repeated pro-Palestine demonstrations, at which there have been repeated reports in recent months. The population is alarmed.
Videos show IS supporters in Vienna city center
And now videos of suspected IS supporters and sympathizers have been leaked to the "Krone" directly from Vienna. These show several young men in Vienna city center and at the Wurstelprater. Propaganda songs play in the background and crazy Islamist fantasies are shown. You can see pictures of IS warriors with "By Allah. Islam is better than everything else in the world", or even little girls are shown wearing full veils. In addition, the protagonists are likely to have a distorted view of the love of women.
We demand immediate action against Islamism and a ban on political Islam.

But it is not only the ideas themselves that are frightening. The number of hits on the TikTok profile also allows dramatic conclusions to be drawn. Some videos have been viewed over 100,000 times.
Sharp action against Islamism
It is no wonder that more and more parties are calling for tougher action against these groups following recent events. Vienna's FPÖ leader Dominik Nepp, for example, is convinced: "We need an immediate crackdown on Islamism and a ban on political Islam."
"Investigations are underway"
The police are also alarmed. The "Krone" has forwarded the documents to the relevant authorities for examination. In response to an inquiry, it briefly states: "The contents were already known to the State Office for State Protection and Counter Extremism. The investigations are ongoing." The current status of the investigation is being kept under wraps.
Islamist influencers on the rise
What is certain is that this is not an isolated case. The Documentation Center for Political Islam (DPI) is also aware of the problem. A spokesperson told Die Krone: "The ideology of Islamist influencers has become increasingly visible on social media channels since the Hamas terror attack on October 7. The Israel-Palestine conflict is a vehicle for reaching as many people as possible with extremist messages."
