The Oscar for the best involuntary stunt went to actress Liza Koshy ("Transformers: Rise of the Beasts"). She posed for the photographers, slipped on her platform stilettos and crashed onto the red carpet. If only she had listened to Jennifer Lawrence's advice...

Liza Koshy had an embarrassing mishap on the red carpet. The influencer and actress wore a red dress and matching red platform stilettos for her appearance.

But the very high shoes proved to be her undoing: she fell in front of the audience and made an Oscar-worthy crash landing.

The 27-year-old covered up the embarrassing mishap by saying: "Didn't see the open manhole." She then posed lying down for a few extra seconds before being helped up.

Liza Koshy is not the only celebrity lady to have had such a mishap. Jennifer Lawrence, for example, made headlines in 2013 when she won an Oscar for "Best Actress in a Leading Role" for her role in "Silver Linings". When she went to accept the golden boy, she tripped and fell on stage.

So the likeable actress gave a tip at this year's Oscars to avoid falling at the important awards ceremony. When Lawrence was asked by Amelia Dimoldenberg for her best advice to avoid falling on the red carpet, the 33-year-old replied simply: "Just don't do it! Just don't fall." Jennifer Lawrence's tip probably wouldn't have helped Liza Koshy much either ...
