The latter made a surprise appearance for an exuberant guitar solo. His "Barbie" colleagues Simu Liu and Ben Kingsley-Adair also supported Gosling in the energetic dance performance.
Pink wow performance
For his wow performance, Gosling dressed to match the "Barbie" flair in a pink suit covered all over with glittering stones. He also wore "Ken"-inspired sunglasses.
Even "Barbie" director Greta Gerwig and "Barbie" Margot Robbie couldn't stay in their seats - they sang along loudly. What a great show, the audience was thrilled!
"I'm Just Ken" lost out to Eilish's song
The song was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song. Although the performance was a complete success, the song ultimately lost out to Billie Eilish and Finnea's original song "What Was I Made For", a title that was also written for the "Barbie" film.
