Jon Kortajarena
Best male model in the world guest judge for Klum
"You are the best male model in the catwalk." With these words, Karl Lagerfeld, one of the most renowned German fashion designers, paid tribute to Spanish model Jon Kortajarena. In the fifth episode of "Germany's Next Topmodel - by Heidi Klum", the Spaniard is at Heidi Klum's side as a guest judge and prepares the models for an extraordinary walk.
The "GNTM" appearance is also an extraordinary honor for Kortajarena.
"Being a guest judge in the first season with male models on #GNTM is a great honor for me."
"Jon was my first great love"
The models are very much looking forward to Jon Kortajarena's walk teaching: "I already knew him from many campaigns because he is the poster model in the men's world. I just thought to myself: Wow! Wow! To see him in real life. It was so unexpected. I was so surprised and delighted that he was coaching us." Says Dominik, who is thrilled to be coached by a professional like him.
A big dream come true for Sara: "For the little Sara in me, this was the fulfillment of all her dreams. I have to admit - Jon Kortajarena was my first great love. Getting a glimpse of him was everything to me!"
Hot looks and teddy outfits - fashion show with extravagance
Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Heidi Klum are among the stars who have already been dressed by fashion designer Marina Hoermanseder. Her trademarks are belt buckles, orthopaedic corsets and vase dresses - and as far as the model looks are concerned, probably a lot of bare skin too.
But this fashion show will also be something new for her: "This is my first men's collection today. Nevertheless, everyone was very impressed, even though some of the looks have very little material." Max is thrilled: "It's a huge honor that we are the models who get to present their looks. It's art what we get to wear. So much work goes into these looks!"
"When I came backstage, all I saw was colorful. Teddy bears, cute looks - it was very colorful. I saw all the outfits hanging on the poles and I really wanted to know straight away which outfit was mine," Marvin enthuses about his first impression.
Not everyone likes the looks
But not everyone seems to be 100 percent satisfied: "I've never seen anything like it in my entire life. It's not the look I would wear to the bakery," says Armin.
The only thing that counts in the end, though: The walk and the poses, because fashion and catwalk photographer Pablo Paniagua is waiting for the models at the end of the catwalk. Find out who can convince Heidi this week and for whom it means the end of their modeling journey on Thursday at 20:25 on ProSieben.
