Ex-politician and zackzack.at founder Peter Pilz was particularly aggressive towards the ÖVP in the krone.tv interview. When asked whether Judge Michael Radastics was biased in the trial against former Chancellor Sebastian Kurz because of an alleged close relationship between Radastics and Kurz's opponent Pilz, the ex-politician replied after a brief laugh: "Oh, that's a classic ÖVP story. Whenever someone from the ÖVP is convicted, they say, yes, actually someone completely different committed this offense."

"The situation from the ÖVP's point of view is as follows: Sebastian Kurz is not legally convicted of giving false testimony, so Peter Pilz has given false testimony. I mean, it doesn't get any more stupid than that."

Pilz emphasizes that journalists are publishing this character assassination and self-justification propaganda from ÖVP areas in their newspapers and says: "Of course we will file charges from Fellner to Unterberger. These gentlemen will also have to answer to a proper court, which has already gone to my lawyer. Mr. Unterberger should prepare himself properly."

"Classic ÖVP story"
Pilz: "I am being accused of having a close relationship with Judge Radastics. But I'm on friendly terms with him, I've never met him privately in my life and have only come to him at the public prosecutor's office for witness hearings to which I was summoned by the court. Now you can see how desperate the ÖVP is to create the impression that the real culprit is not Kurz, who has obviously done a lot of things, but Pilz, who has brought a lot of things about him to light. This is a classic ÖVP story."

"Nehammer effect"
Pilz also argues the so-called Nehammer effect based on the most recent ÖVP election result in Hallein: "In Hallein, the Federal Chancellor opened the election campaign for the ÖVP with his well-known angry speech in a wine shop. Now I think the ÖVP has lost two thirds of its votes in Sunday's election and the SPÖ has an absolute majority. That's the Nehammer effect." Pilz, very clear: "The ÖVP is the mother party of corruption and there are many Greens who don't like it." The Greens are now accessories to a pretty ridiculous government.
