New jobs guaranteed! Three municipalities are currently planning a joint business park around the Tullnerfeld railroad station.

Tullnerfeld railroad station, which opened in 2012, is a central transport hub. In order to professionally manage the future of the location around the station, the market towns of Judenau-Baumgarten, Langenrohr and Michelhausen are now working on a concept that will set the direction for development. The aim is to create a business park that generates as much added value as possible while using as little space as possible.

Enterprise zone: 65 instead of 105 hectares

The three mayors Georg Hagl (Judenau-Baumgarten), Leopold Figl (Langenrohr) and Bernhard Heinl (Michelhausen) have now informed the members of the municipal councils of the three villages about this project. The intention is to proceed cautiously and in a future-oriented manner. While 105 hectares of farmland were planned 20 years ago, this is no longer an option. In the long term, 65 hectares are to be used. "We want an intermunicipal business park with a sense of scale, purpose and quality," say the three mayors.

"The importance and scope of this project require a professional approach and, above all, cross-municipal cooperation. As in the past with our waste collection center, the parking deck and the health center, we will also tackle this project together," Georg Hagl, Leopold Figl and Bernhard Heinl conclude.
