She was born with a love of animals. Now dog fitness trainer Emma Steindorfer has opened a wellness salon for dogs in Klein St. Paul. "Krone" editorial dog Dakota has tested the offer.

"Sweet Paws" is the name of the wellness salon run by dog fitness trainer Emma Steindorfer (32) on the main square in Klein St. Paul. "There was a need for it. Dog owners attach great importance to the health of their four-legged friends. Our dogs are increasingly suffering from the same ailments as us humans. My vet encouraged me to do this - and I completed the dog fitness course in record time so that I could open my business," explains the great animal lover, who completed an apprenticeship as an animal carer at a young age, has already provided a home for a number of animal welfare dogs and can now look after the health of the furry friends.

Extensive offer
The customers are grateful. The wellness salon not only checks and trains dogs' fitness, but also checks their weight, has an underwater treadmill for more serious complaints and a salt cabin for humans and dogs. Paw care and eye and ear care are also offered.

Salt chamber for humans and animals
"The salt chamber is particularly good for allergies, respiratory diseases or skin complaints, but also for reducing stress and strengthening the immune system," emphasizes Steindorfer. Owners can use the cabin for half an hour on a comfortable lounger with their dog lying on a fluffy blanket next to them. Of course, the four-legged friend is carefully acclimatized to the cabin. "You should use the cabin twice a week to be successful," explains the dog fitness trainer.

Appointments are regularly published on the Facebook page "Süße Pfoten - Hundefitnesstrainerin" or can of course also be arranged by telephone (Tel. [phone]). Parking spaces are also available in front of the salon, and there is even a ramp. The salon also offers pet owners suggestions for dog food, dog treats and practical accessories. Emma has also written a booklet about her beloved four-legged friends. It is available in the salon.
