Aaron Taylor-Johnson will be the new James Bond!
According to the British media, Aaron Taylor-Johnson has received an official offer for the role of James Bond. This puts an end to months of speculation about Daniel Craig's successor.
The 33-year-old actor has yet to officially accept the role, British newspapers report. A source told the Daily Mail: "Bond is Aaron's job, should he want to take it. The formal offer is on the table and they are waiting for a response." It is believed that Taylor-Johnson will sign in the next few days.
British television is already discussing the fact that he will have to have his hair cut. Because an agent of Her Majesty needs a proper short haircut.
Seventh actor
Once he has signed the contract, he will be the seventh actor to play the iconic British secret agent since the start of the film series in 1962.
Sean Connery played the super agent with the double zero from 1962 to 1971, George Lazenby played him once in 1969, Roger Moore took over from 1973 to 1985, and Moore followed Timothy Dalton in the role from 1987 to 1989. Then came Pierce Brosnan from 1995 to 2002 and most recently Daniel Craig played James Bond from 2006 to 2021.

Taylor-Johnson has been married to director Sam Taylor-Johnson, who is 24 years his senior and whom he met on the set of "Nowhere Boy", since 2012. The couple have two daughters together. The director also has two daughters with her ex-husband Jay Jopling.
