Annoyed by waiters
Millie Bobby Brown hates going to restaurants
Millie Bobby Brown has caused an uproar in a new podcast interview. The 20-year-old spoke about her dining preferences and couldn't resist criticizing restaurant staff and revealing her demanding standards.
After Millie Bobby Brown admitted that she "hates" sharing food, Brown went on a rant about what else she doesn't like about the restaurant experience.
Millie Bobby Brown "hates" restaurants
"You know what I hate?" she told "Table Manners" hosts Jessie and Lennie Ware. "I wait a long time to order. Come on!"
Singer Ware agreed: "Millie! You're speaking my language, girl! I'm literally thinking: 'I've looked at the menu before.
"Not coming back"
Brown agreed excitedly and continued, "Yes! And then they say: 'We'll just take your drinks order and then come back', I say: 'No, no, no, stay here, let's just order everything.' The whole thing. It will make your life easier. Plus, I just want the food to keep going."
Actress complains about waiters
"And that goes for the bill too. You know when they put it on the table and come back half an hour later? Then I say: 'I'll give you my card now and then I have to go for a walk to digest the food'," says the actress indignantly.
"Constantly criticized"
Elsewhere in the interview, Brown wanted to know from the "Table Manners" hosts if they had left reviews at restaurants - which the "Stranger Things" star herself admitted to having done. She defended her actions by explaining, "My whole life is people criticizing me, so sometimes I'm going to give it back."
Criticism hails for Brown
The 20-year-old was criticized in the comments. And her statements sparked anger from fans, who called her "rude" and "demanding" for treating staff "so disrespectfully". "She's never worked in this industry!" one user pointed out, for example. "You're a millionaire but one bad review can mean the end for people in the restaurant industry."
