If you don't already have your beach spot with you when you book, you will once again pay between five and ten percent more on average for sun loungers and parasols in Italy this year than in 2023. We list the most expensive offers, but also cheaper alternatives and good tips from Apulia to Jesolo and Lignano.
With the opening of the summer season, many popular seaside resorts in Italy have changed their price lists and raised prices for facilities and services once again.
In addition to the stable high hotel and restaurant prices, the daily fees for parasols, sunbeds and deckchairs are striking, having already risen by an average of ten to 15 percent across Italy in 2023 and by a peak of 25 percent compared to the previous year. Another increase is expected in 2024. Here is an overview of what a day at the beach will cost this year, including tips on how to make it cheaper:
