Leobendorf's Pranjic
“Unfortunately the skull said no at the time!”
Coach Sascha Laschet had high hopes for his former team Leobendorf ahead of the spring kick-off: "But only on the condition that Pranjic stays fit. He is a difference-maker." Who left his mark on the first four Ostliga games. Leobendorf picked up ten points - and the winger scored three times. Which came as something of a surprise...
The 29-year-old was recently out for three months due to a torn syndesmosis ligament. Pranjic: "I've spent a lot of time in the gym, I know my body." That wasn't the case before. The ex-Admiran, who played eight Bundesliga games, was denied his big breakthrough. "I always had the quality for more. Unfortunately, my skull said no," grins the noble angler.
"Want the cup ticket"
"Other things were more important to me than soccer." In addition to his family, his focus today is on Leobendorf, which has recently made up ground in the table. "We definitely want to get a ticket for the ÖFB Cup, a lot is possible!" But only "if Pranjic stays fit."
