3:1! KAC now has four match points against Pustertal

Now it's finally set for the final! With a 3:1 win at home, the Red Jackets now have four match pucks for a place in the final. Thanks to Fraser and Vallant, they had the quick and perfect answer to Pustertal's 1:1 equalizer in the final third.

Furey's team scored in the very first power play: A slap shot from Bischofberger, goalie Smith deflected to the other side - and Ganahl tucked the puck into the net in just the third minute. After that, a hard-nosed KAC had the game completely under control, but Herburger had to make a diving block to prevent Morley from equalizing (7th minute).

Dahm makes a brilliant save
The South Tyroleans came out in the second period, Schofield hit the bar with his backhand (27'), Petan failed at the second post (30') and Akeson with a solo shot alone in front of KAC goalie Dahm (36'). And so they went into the second break with a 1:0 lead.

Decision thanks to a double strike
Bischofberger missed the big chance to make it 2:0 when he missed the target after a counter-attack with Hundertpfund while short-handed. And just a few seconds later, Petan scored into the near corner to equalize 1:1 for the visitors (49'). But the Red Jackets had the perfect answer: Just two minutes later, Hundertpfund crossed for his fellow striker Fraser - and he coolly slotted the ball under the crossbar to make it 2:1.

Defender Thomas Vallant then decided the game with a hammer shot into the corner. The 3:1 victory gave the Red Jackets the 3:0 lead in the semi-final series and four match points.
