Prisoner denies
Victim’s blood on his hands!
Although he dipped his shoes in the Traun, he did not remove all traces of DNA: Murder suspect Jürgen H. (36) from Stadl-Paura has now been remanded in custody because blood from murder victim Josef Muhr (68) from Lambach was found on his hands.
"The urgent suspicion has been confirmed", confirmed the public prosecutor's office and the regional court in Wels. For the Linz investigators, the case is as good as solved, even if the presumption of innocence applies: on Friday, the father of two children with a criminal record apparently wanted to pump his father's friend for money in order to pay a debt of 300 euros at a sex club. But the digger driver apparently only got a moral lecture from the innkeeper - and is said to have struck out in anger: 60 blows with a chair leg!
A bloodbath! DNA traces that could not be removed so quickly: Although the suspect scorched his shoes and washed his hands several times, the victim's blood was still on his fingers five hours later when he was arrested. Although microscopically small, it was still enough for DNA evidence that is likely to hold.
