Because of an angry tenant
Due to flood of complaints: “Now it’s really escalating”
A tenant from Burgenland is annoyed by vehicles stopping in an area in front of the Jennersdorf health center that is not designated as a parking space. For the head of the town, this is now an intolerable situation, as the tenant, who is always looking to cause a ruckus, is not afraid of direct confrontation with doctors, healthcare staff and patients.
The situation for doctors, healthcare staff, suppliers and patients at the Jennersdorf health center is becoming more and more of a burden: for months, a tenant has been filing complaints and complaints for disturbance of property because he feels disturbed by cars stopping in the entrance area. This area is particularly popular with suppliers and people who are not good walkers as a parking or stopping area.
No one is safe from ads anymore
No one is safe from being reported to the police any more, whether blood transporters, suppliers of meals on wheels, the ambulance service or, most recently, employees of the psychosocial services are being punished for "illegal stopping". A court case is also pending - which was recently postponed - as further witnesses, including a doctor, Mayor Deutsch and OSG boss Kollar, are to be questioned. Mayor Deutsch even says: "It's really escalating now." "It has now gone so far that he (the tenant in question) is going into the surgeries and seeking direct confrontation with patients by swearing at them. But this is also about behavior that damages our reputation."
Anyone who does not comply with the law will be reported
The mayor has also secured the approval of the local council to take civil action against the tenant, who is intent on causing a ruckus. The tenant, on the other hand, accuses the mayor of deceiving the local council with a false report just to gain the legitimacy to take legal action against him.
That is complete nonsense. All correspondence between the municipality, OSG and the tenant is available to the municipal council.
Bürgermeister Reinhard Deutsch
"That's complete nonsense. All correspondence between the municipality, OSG and the tenant is available to the municipal council," counters Deutsch. Officially, the unpleasant contemporary does not want to take a stance at the moment, which motivates him to file complaints non-stop. Just this much: law must remain law. Only when the court proceedings have been concluded and the mayor has apologized can we talk further. He wants to continue with the complaints until no one stops in front of the entrance.
Marking should bring de-escalation
In order to stop the escalation, the city and OSG have agreed to re-mark the area in front of the health center. In future, loading and unloading should be legally possible here for a period of 20 minutes.
