The "Bandidos" have countless members worldwide. They are banned in some countries, but not in Austria.

Rumors spread like wildfire and nobody seems to be happy about it. The "Bandidos", a notorious rocker group, want to settle in Lower Austria. They are said to have found what they were looking for in St. Pölten because one of their members is said to have roots there.

According to information from "Krone", a rental agreement for a clubhouse has been signed in the district of Stattersdorf, which is valid from April. It is said to be an old business premises. "Preparatory work is underway," confirms the former company boss. He has not yet heard that the tenants are members of the "Bandidos", as he affirms: "But I am aware that it is a motorcycle club that is setting up its club premises here." The deal only came about because he has known relatives of the main player for years. The latter was tight-lipped when asked and did not want to reveal any plans.

Police are currently watching "very closely"
However, the police are aware that there are "obvious tendencies of the 'Bandidos' to settle in St. Pölten or to rent a property. We are keeping a close eye on this," they say.

Only recently, the police in Tyrol managed to strike a blow against drug-related crime with 18 arrests. The focus: members of the "Bandidos". In 2023, weapons worth 1.5 million euros were seized from the same rocker club in Upper and Lower Austria. Another problem: where the "Bandidos" are, the hostile "Hells Angels" are often not far away ...
