Which cell phone tariffs will now automatically become more expensive

The April bill will cause some consumers to frown: Because every second cell phone tariff will be subject to a surcharge from April 1. The reason for this is indexation, which will cause the basic charge to rise for many customers. The "Krone" shows which providers are now increasing.

Whether you are affected depends on your contract, as some providers have index clauses (see info box) with which they can "value-secure" the tariffs year after year. This is based on the consumer price index, which rose by 7.8%.
