"Act of resistance"
Fritzl lawyer poses revealingly on Instagram
Astrid Wagner, top lawyer in cases of hardship such as Josef Fritzl, likes to be informal in her private life. Now the top lawyer, who celebrates her 61st birthday in May, has posted revealing photos on Instagram and Facebook.
The photos were taken during a hiking trip to Öhler in Puchberg am Schneeberg (Lower Austria). Wagner obviously really enjoyed the time out in nature in glorious weather.
Top lawyer can be seen
The "topless" pictures during a hiking break are impressive - the lawyer is obviously in top shape! Some users also commented that Wagner could "afford" to pose like this.
"An act of resistance"
Astrid Wagner herself told the "Krone" that the pictures were an "act of resistance" in terms of women's power: "What a time we live in when THAT is no longer allowed. Even the bar association is not interested in how I show myself in private."

One for the serious cases
Wagner not only made headlines with her defense of Josef Fritzl, she also repeatedly takes on serious cases that often attract a great deal of public interest. In the 1990s, she fell in love with Jack Unterweger and wrote a book about the serial killer's case.
She is currently representing a mother who was suspected of having severely abused her son and locked him in a dog crate. Or the 35-year-old man who allegedly killed his ex-partner with a shot to the head in front of their nine-year-old daughter.
