After a serious fall
No end to Kilde’s career: “I’ll be back!”
Aleksander Aamodt Kilde is not letting it get him down: the Norwegian has now categorically ruled out a premature end to his career after his serious crash in Wengen! "I'll be back," he announced on the Norwegian talk show "Lindmo".
At the beginning of February, Kilde had declared: "Whether I can continue my career is still unclear. It will take time. I'm not giving up hope and remain positive." After all, the Norwegian had to undergo two operations on his shoulder and calf.
Now his fans can breathe a sigh of relief! "I'll be back," he said as a guest on the Norwegian talk show "Lindmo".
"This is my best time now"
He knows that it can actually work, that it is realistic. "I'm 31 years old and in a way, this is my best time now. I can keep going until I'm 40. I have to come back and try it again," Kilde said.
On the talk show, he also spoke openly about his marriage proposal to Mikaela Shiffrin. However, the wedding will be put on the back burner. "The comeback comes first. Then hopefully a few more victories and then maybe a wedding," Kilde concluded.
