“No Bundesliga club has called me yet”
Lukas Brückler is having a great year for SW Bregenz in his first season in the second division. The ex-Golling striker scored a hat-trick in the 3-3 draw against Sturm Graz II at the weekend. His contract in Vorarlberg expires in the summer and his future is currently still open.
Lukas Brückler scored three goals at the weekend in Bregenz's 3-3 draw against Sturm II in the 2nd division. For the ex-Golling striker, these were goals number nine, ten and eleven in his debut season with the Vorarlberg club. "I can be pretty satisfied so far," grins the 24-year-old, who is currently going through a tough time with his team. Black-and-white have only won one of their last six games. "We're currently in a maelstrom, a lot of things are going against us. Nevertheless, I'm sure we'll get out of it."
"I feel comfortable"
Brückler's contract in Bregenz expires in the summer and his sporting future is still uncertain. Several Bundesliga clubs are said to have expressed interest in the Salzburg player, who is managed by Philipp Mirtl and the m&m deportivo agency. "No Bundesliga club has called me yet. But a move to the top flight would of course be an absolute highlight for me," emphasized the striker, who also made it clear: "I feel very comfortable in Bregenz, will certainly hold talks with the club and can well imagine staying here for another year. The club gave me the chance as a professional, and I'm incredibly grateful for that."
