Insurer rejuvenated
The “old lady” has been given a new look
Oberösterreichische Versicherung wants to become younger, fresher and more digital. The company, managed by Othmar Nagl and Kathrin Kühtreiber-Leitner, has therefore given itself a new brand image. The slogan "No worries" has also had its day.
Old banners were turned into bags; promotional items that were no longer needed were sold at an employee flea market and the proceeds donated to the cancer charity; the internet address was changed to versich.at - "colloquially we say that we are versichat, so that fits well," says Othmar Nagl.
Together with CEO Kathrin Kühtreiber-Leitner, the CEO of Oberösterreichische Versicherung presented the new brand identity of the company, which operates from Linz, on Tuesday. "We want to become younger and more digital," emphasizes Nagl.
Appreciated values
Kühtreiber-Leitner underlines this and says: "We need a breath of fresh air." The "old lady", as the more than 200-year-old insurer likes to be called, has been given a new look with the support of the agency "Die Jungen Wilden". "But we don't want to completely disguise ourselves," says Nagl. After all, the values of Oberösterreichische Versicherung are appreciated - and we want to build on them.
Slogan "No worries" has had its day
The slogan "No worries", on the other hand, has had its day. The new slogan is now: "You do your thing, Oberösterreichische insures you." More emphasis is also to be placed on the digital world: The company's own customer portal is only used by just under 70,000 of the approximately 456,000 customers. The apprentices are now designing a TikTok channel.
