"I'm jealous"
Kate Hudson’s brother jealous of her success
Kate (44) and Oliver Hudson (47) grew up in Hollywood as the children of actress Goldie Hawn (78) and musician and actor Bill Hudson (74). The siblings are both active as actors. But while Kate Hudson rose to become a sought-after actress, Oliver was always overshadowed by his famous sister.
"I want to earn so much money": In the joint podcast "Sibling Revelry", Oliver Hudson admitted to being jealous of his successful sister Kate Hudson. For this particular episode, he invited Blake Lively's (36) half-sister Robyn Lively (52) - who is also far less successful than her famous sister.
"I'm not ashamed to admit it"
However, the two were never able to build on the great successes of their loved ones. That gnaws at Oliver Hudson. "I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm jealous," the US celebrity magazine "E! News" quoted him as saying from the podcast.
Although he had roles in popular series such as "Dawson's Creek" and "Nahsville", the big breakthrough never came. And so no big role offers followed, as with his sister Kate Hudson, who celebrated her breakthrough with "Almost Famous".
He is also "happy" for his siblings
"There's always a part of me that says: 'Damn man, why can't I do this,'" Oliver Hudson confessed in an interview with Blake Lively's sister, continuing, "I want to play a role like that. I want to work with people like that. I want to make so much money. I don't want to have to work my ass off for everything."
During the interview, 47-year-old Oliver stated that while he was "happy" for his sister and half-siblings, especially his half-brother Wyatt Russell. However, he wishes he could have the same success as Kate Hudson.
