Excuse me?
Halle Berry had to skin squirrels for the movie
Oscar winner Halle Berry (57) says she learned to skin squirrels for her new film "Never Let Go". It was a "real challenge" for her.
Working on the thriller, in which she plays a mother who has to survive in a forest with her sons, was "a challenge", "The Hollywood Reporter" magazine quoted the 57-year-old as saying on Wednesday after an event in Las Vegas.
She had to "create a reality in this world that felt so alien". "I really had to skin a squirrel."
Berry is a "real adrenaline junkie"
Berry seemed to have mastered it well. "I'm a real adrenaline junkie," she was quoted as saying by Entertainment Weekly. "The bigger the roller coaster, the bigger the bungee jump, the longer the zip line, the better I like it."
'Never Let Go', which is due to be released in US cinemas in September, centers on a mother and her twin sons trying to protect themselves from the evil lurking in and around their home. They must stay connected at all times - always through a connection of ropes - and hold tightly to each other, never letting go. One of the boys, however, wonders if the evil is real, which triggers a terrifying fight for survival.
Her son would get "nightmares for a long time"
Her 16-year-old daughter might like the thriller, the actress told the US magazine "Extra". Her ten-year-old son, on the other hand, would probably have "nightmares for a long time" about such a movie, said Berry. "I mean, he saw the trailer for a scary movie and it took us a year to get him to go to bed on his own."
Berry shares her son, named Maceo, with French actor Olivier Martinez. Her relationship with Canadian model Gabriel Aubry produced daughter Nahla. Following their separation in 2010, the parents were involved in a bitter custody battle. Berry was previously married to baseball player David Justice and musician Eric Benét. The former Bond girl ("Die Another Day") is now dating US singer Van Hunt.
