"That saved my life"
"After the impact, 120 kilos of fuel and the battery were on fire. The survival cell protects the driver in a serious crash, including me. The chassis is still intact, the halo is in place and apart from the damage and burns, it's still as it should be. I think that saved my life," explains Grosjean.

Since this dramatic incident, the day of Romain Grosjean's accident, who was born on April 17, 1986, is often regarded as his "second birthday". This day not only marks his physical birthday, but also the rebirth of a man who showed great determination and strength to fight against all odds.

Courage and perseverance
Grosjean's story is a symbol of courage and perseverance. His remarkable comeback after the accident shows that he is not only a talented racing driver, but also a role model for perseverance and the human will.

As a father of two and a dedicated motorsports enthusiast, Grosjean continues to advocate for safety in motorsports and uses his platform to give hope and inspiration to others. His extraordinary life and experiences make him a true hero on and off the track.
