Political career and warning
The Russian opposition politician and opponent of President Vladimir Putin died in a prison camp in Siberia on February 16. The cause of the 47-year-old's death has not yet been independently clarified. According to the publisher, the book covers Navalny's political career, the attacks on him and his confidants as well as his campaigns against the increasingly dictatorial regime in Russia. "Patriot" is "a reminder of why the principles of individual freedom are so important and a rousing call to continue the work (...)."
Navalnaya: "A steadfast fight against dictatorship"
"This book is not only the testimony of Alexei's life, but also of his steadfast fight against the dictatorship - a fight for which he gave everything, including his life (...). His story will not only honor his memory, but also inspire other people to stand up for what is right and never lose sight of the values that really matter," Navalny's widow Yulia Navalnaya is also convinced.
