Thousands of visitors to the Snowbombing music festival in Mayrhofen celebrated the legendary street party on Thursday - outlandish costumes and unusual dance moves included. The advertising value for the entire region is priceless. The "Krone" was right in the middle of it all and even met the world-famous band Rudimental - see also the video. 

It all started with a private group from Great Britain who once came to Mayrhofen to live out the combination of snowboarding and partying for days on end. This developed into the professional Snowbombing event. Gareth Cooper is considered the founder and is still the boss and creative head of this special music festival today. During the day, the slopes and DJs are enjoyed in the mountain huts, while in the evening the fun continues in the valley on the streets, in bars and discos - in an endless loop.
