Appeal to begin soon
Horner case: employee to be questioned again
The employee who started the Horner case with her accusations will probably be questioned again shortly. A new lawyer has been appointed to deal with the matter, British media report.
According to the Sun, the woman has challenged Red Bull's internal audit report on the Horner case. She will therefore be questioned again by investigators in the coming week. A new lawyer has been hired for the appeal.
The woman's statement could lead to Red Bull team boss Christian Horner also being questioned again. In the meantime, the racing team has made it clear that complete transparency is assured. However, a line will then be drawn.
Complaint rejected
At the beginning of February, it became known that the Red Bull Group was investigating allegations of inappropriate behavior against Horner. Following an investigation by a lawyer who is said to be close to the family of the Thai majority shareholder, the complaint was dismissed.
Following the rejection of the complaint, anonymous emails with files were sent to the other team bosses and Formula 1 journalists before the first Grand Prix of the year in Bahrain, the contents of which put Horner under renewed pressure. There is also an ongoing power struggle within the company.
