Wild brawl at school: Boy pulls out knife!

Unbelievable scenes took place in a Styrian school

What's going on in our schools? As the "Steirerkrone" found out, two high school students are facing suspension after almost bashing each other's heads in during a brawl. One even pulled out a knife. The pupils were filming.

In the past, fights in the school playground were comparatively harmless - and usually a test of strength between pubescent classmates who made up afterwards. Nowadays, however, fights are getting more and more out of hand - even if someone is lying on the floor, they are still being kicked!

Brutal assaults
Unbelievable scenes like this occurred a few days ago in a Styrian district grammar school. According to the "Steirerkrone" newspaper, two teenagers got into an argument after class. One word led to another, then fists flew. Classmates witnessed the brutal assaults. One day later, on April 12, the conflict between the two boys moved into the school building.

One of them pushed the other and insulted him. Whereupon the other pulled out a knife in the middle of class, which he had hidden in his trouser pocket. Before he could attack his opponent with the weapon, he punched him several times in the face.

Pupils filmed horror scenes
Courageous classmates managed to separate the two brawlers. Others did not intervene at all, preferring instead to pull out their cell phones to film the wild brawl. "The videos clearly show the fight and the knife," said a statement from the school in question. The pupils were no longer allowed to attend lessons after the incident and their parents were informed. The police were also called in. The brutals are now facing suspension - proceedings have already been initiated.
