Threatened his own family
Drunk man goes berserk in asylum accommodation
The police in Lower Austria had to be called out several times because a husband threatened his wife and children. Another refugee hit his partner following a furious argument.
Wild scenes took place in a private asylum shelter in the district of Mistelbach. A Ukrainian had gotten drunk and completely lost control in his intoxication. He attacked his wife and his own children. Only the police, who were called to help, were able to calm the quarrelsome man down. But only briefly. Despite being ordered to leave, the man returned to the accommodation on the next two days and threatened his family. Once again, the police had to intervene.
Accommodation provider as eyewitness
Things weren't much calmer in a shelter in the district of Korneuburg. There, a Ukrainian man had beaten his partner in the course of a heated argument. Fortunately, the accommodation provider had heard the argument and witnessed it. He immediately called the police, who arrested the suspect. In this case, too, the suspect was ordered to leave.
Blue lights could also be seen in a private asylum home not far from the center of St. Pölten. A Ukrainian woman had filed a complaint there after being punched in the face by another resident. The background to this case is still unclear and the police are investigating at full speed.
