One thing is forbidden in Nicole Kidman’s marriage

The marriage of Oscar winner Nicole Kidman and country musician Keith Urban is considered one of the happiest in Hollywood. Now the successful actress has revealed one of the secrets that ensure harmony in their love union. Although: Her husband would love to do it and had to break the habit with great effort.

Nicole Kidman (56) and Keith Urban (56) have been married since 2006. You never hear about scandals with these two. On the contrary, when they appear together, it is always in complete harmony and often very cuddly. 

Strict rule
"This man is the best thing that has ever happened to me," she enthuses about the musician.

They simply fit together and it was luck to have met him. However, Kidman has one strict rule that her lover must adhere to, even if he would like it to be different. 

"Call me!"
She once revealed that she had forbidden him to send her text messages. If he has something to discuss with her or wants to tell her something, he has to call.

"We never text each other, can you believe that? From the beginning, I said if you want to reach me, call me," she explained years ago. Since he likes text messaging, he found it difficult, but eventually learned to do it.

 "He tried it"
"I was never really a texter. I think he tried to text me a few times and I never wrote back. Then it was like, 'That's nice. If you really want to reach me, you have to call me. We text everyone else. That's the only thing we don't do," says Nicole Kidman.

Wedding one and a half years after first meeting
Kidman and Keith Urban met at a gala in Los Angeles in January 2005. The actress immediately had butterflies in her stomach and gave the musician her number. But he didn't get in touch!

"I had such a crush on him and he wasn't interested in me. It's true!" Kidman told presenter Ellen DeGeneres in 2017. "He didn't call me for four months."

After that, however, things moved quickly. In May 2006, Kidman confirmed her engagement and they were married in Sydney on June 25, 2006.

Kidman brought her adopted children Isabella and Connor into the marriage from her first marriage to Tom Cruise. Kidman's two daughters with Urban, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, were born in 2008 and 2010.
