3:0 for Hypo-Riesen
Captain Kronthaler: “The pressure is on Hartberg”
The Hypo volleyballers can start chilling the champagne for the championship celebrations. After the 3:1 home win on Wednesday, the Tyrolean smash kings lead 3:0 in the best-of-7 final series against Hartberg. Captain Niklas Kronthaler and Co. have the first of three match points in Hartberg on Saturday.
Winners actually look different. After the 3:1 home win against Hartberg on Wednesday, the Hypo Giants left the pitch in Innsbruck's USI-Halle with shy faces. "An absolute labor victory," groaned captain Niklas Kronthaler.
After leading the set 1:0, the Tyrolean smash kings once again lost their way. "We suddenly stopped holding our reception and our whole game stopped working," explained the former team player.
We didn't win the third set, Hartberg gave it to us with their own mistakes."

However, the Styrian outsiders were probably afraid of winning, as they had been in the 3:2 defeat in the first final match. "We didn't win the third set, Hartberg gave it to us with their own mistakes," Kronthaler clarified.
"The only thing that counts is that you win in the end"
For head coach Stefan Chrtiansky, only the result was important after the match: "In a final series, the only thing that counts is that you win a match at the end."
The Hypo volleyballers secured three match points in the best-of-7 final series with their 3:1 win. The Tyroleans can seal the deal in the fourth game in Hartberg on Saturday "Now we can travel to Styria with ease, the pressure is on our opponents," says Kronthaler.
