#Helping mothers
Working for mothers and children in need
Doing good together: P&G and Konsument:innen support the Caritas Mother and Child Houses. Every purchase of products from participating brands automatically makes a donation.
The brand manufacturer P&G, which is responsible for products from brands such as Pampers, Gillette and Oral-B, is once again uniting its social commitment under the #GemeinsamStärker umbrella to create a combined Force for Good. This year, the company is once again supporting mothers and children in need with the #Mütternhelfen initiative. The aim is to raise up to 100,000 euros to support the twelve Caritas mother and child homes in Austria. You can also easily become part of the initiative: every time you buy participating P&G products during the campaign period, the donation pot is filled. So they can automatically donate to do good together.
#Mothershelp: P&G and BIPA support mothers and children in need
32 percent of all single parents in Austria are considered to be at risk of poverty or marginalization. 1] In order to help single mothers and their children, P&G and BIPA are supporting the twelve Caritas mother and child houses in Austria with the #Mütternhelfen initiative. These offer mothers and their children a safe place where they can not only live temporarily, but also receive support in finding work. The mother and child houses also offer those affected low-threshold access to therapy and counseling services, provide them with everyday necessities and help them to build a secure long-term future.
"As a family-friendly company with a female quota of 98%, implementing the #Mütternhelfen and #Kinderperspektiven donation projects - together with P&G - is particularly important to us.In order to support mothers and children in particularly difficult times, we would like to collect donations for the education and support program and at least 3,000 sleeping places in the mother-child homes again this year.BIPA and the Caritas Mother and Child Homes have now enjoyed a 15-year partnership, which is characterized by projects such as "Round up, please!" and numerous voucher donations, which residents can use to shop at BIPA for themselves and their children," says Markus Geyer, Managing Director of BIPA.
It's as simple as that:
2024 marks the seventh anniversary of P&G and BIPA's commitment to the Caritas mother and child homes. Together, the partners want to collect donations from April 25 to May 22, 2024. Consumers can easily take part in the initiative: With every purchase of a product from the participating P&G brands Ariel, Always, Braun, Fairy, Gillette Venus, Lenor, Oral-B, Pampers and Pantene during the campaign period, the donation pot will be filled by eleven cents.
